Bill Muska
80

Bill Muska, long time member of the CT Ford V-8 Club and Connecticut Seaport Car club passed on Monday October 12, 2020 at age 80 while spending time in one of his favorite places in Vermont. Bill was a Navy veteran. He enlisted in 1962, served on the U.S.S. Randolph (CVS-15) out of Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. As a U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard he served as Honor Guard in front of the White House during John F. Kennedy’s presidency. After mustering out, he worked at Bonnie Electric in Fairfield before a career for Gen-eral Electric as an electrician. Bill was also a master mechanic and car hobbyist. We knew him as an active member of the Early Ford V-8 Club of Con-necticut as well as the Connecticut Seaport Car Club of Fairfield County. Bill loved traveling in his 1934 Ford. He took that old ‘34 clear across country on a 6 1/2 week adventure to California for the V-8 National Meet on the left coast. He stopped frequently along the way to appreciate the beauty of nature at several national parks. Bill really enjoyed travelling, and especially loved his second home in Vermont where he chose to spend his last moments.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill’s family and Friends. Bill was a wonderful friend to all
He Will Be Missed.
